Our whole class completed a Breakout, we had one team open all the locks. There was lots of co-operation, leadership, strategies and problem solving involved to open all of the locks.
Welcome to Room 14's blog for 2016. We are a class of energetic year 3/4 learners and our teacher is Mrs Fowler

Matariki Celebrations
We read the story Seven Stars of Matariki by Toni Rollerston.
In our art we are flying our kite at night in the wind, our kite will fly away to make the 7th star, can you see the wind gusts? Come into the class to see the rest of our beautiful art.

Sugar in Food
Mrs Robb came to talk to us about being Label Detectives.
Mia learnt that Cocoa Pops has more than 15g (which is our recommended amount).
Neerav found that cartoon characters on boxes of cereal means they will have more sugar in it.
Tanya found out that Powerade has the same amount of sugar as 12 chocolate chip cookies.
