Breakout

Our whole class completed a Breakout, we had one team open all the locks.  There was lots of co-operation, leadership, strategies and problem solving  involved to open all of the locks.

Matariki Celebrations

We read the story Seven Stars of Matariki by Toni Rollerston. In our art we are flying our kite at night in the wind, our kite will fly away to make the 7th star, can you see the wind gusts?  Come into the class to see the rest of our beautiful art.

Sugar in Food

Mrs Robb came to talk to us about being Label Detectives.





Mia learnt that Cocoa Pops has more than 15g (which is our recommended amount).

 Neerav found that cartoon characters on boxes of cereal means they will have more sugar in it.

Tanya found out that Powerade has the same amount of sugar as 12 chocolate chip cookies.

Using our Chromebooks to Publish

We have been busy on our Chromebooks publishing our Dimante poems.
Skills we used:
Opened our Drive
Created a new doc by opening the subject folder first
Centre allign and right allign
Change the colour and size of our font
Insert an image from Google
We underlined our title
We chose part of our poem to use bold
We went back and editied our work on the Chromebook
